2019 Queens Birthday Trip Report

We met the Friday in Yea for morning tea, then drove through Jamieson and up to Mt Skene where we camped in the snow. With a perfectly still and clear night, we setup a telescope that Peter brought along and Stargazed for several ours. We managed to get a good view of both Saturn and Jupiter.

Saturday we headed off to Licola and onto Burgoynes track, Mt Margaret. 

Sunday we headed back to Jaimieson through Mt Skene and camped in Jamieson where we had dinner at the pub.

Monday was leisurely drive home.
